Trail Stewards

Stewards are trail users focused on a particular trail or trail segment. Stewards are needed to monitor their section at least annually, keep the trail clear and blazed all year long, and request a work day when major upkeep is required. It takes a village so join (or start!) your trail steward team!

Community Greater Than The Trail

The trails needs volunteers throughout the year, from identification and design, construction and maintenance to  the start to aid stations along the trail and at the finish. People can volunteer for as little or as much work as they want. Simply using the trail regularly and reporting issues is enough to make you a trail steward too!

No task is too small or insignificant:

  • Let the community know what you saw

  • What do you think should be done

  • Keeping the trail clean & free

  • Just showing up & having fun
